Interesting to see if more communities follow suit.

“ The move comes as the nearby cities of Pittsburgh and Penn Hills have seen their own string of violence involving teens and young adults.”

Then what do you suggest should be done (within the realm of the Constitution)?

Lol at within the Constitution as if any other suggestion would be made.

Considering that it’s happening on a very regular basis, more policing and much harsher consequences for such crimes. However, Libs will never go for that considering they act like it’s no big deal and defend the criminals... and when the new mayor is in place, I expect even more of that...but I always look forward to someone telling me how less policing and the revolving door of justice spinning so quickly makes areas, especially high crime areas better.

Hee hee great post.
I have a neighbor who sees things the way you said. His car got vandalized and things stolen. He hates cops too but called and was so nice to the police I laughed to myself. He was saying you better get them! They better have consequence etc etc...
I laughed outloud we all did.

No punishment or prisons for people they all say, until they become a victim. Wink wink

Funny how they hate them until they need them. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens when crime continues to climb and there’s even less police for them to call.

one page in and no one has dared mention race. a curfew was attempted in the 1990s in the City of Pittsburgh - in no time at all, there were complaints it would affect black children unfairly. i do not dismiss that argument, but I do not recall hearing the basis of that argument from that time.

I am only saying this issue WILL come up, and take on a different dynamic, especially when the local news reports on it.

It’ll absolutely come up and the card will be played to try to keep it from happening. Many would rather defend criminals, shrug it off as no big deal, etc…, than keep folks out of the way from being shot….until they’re personally affected and reap what they sow.
