I think it would go good. Funny chips do make a difference depending on the person, we go through tons of various chips for tasting events. I'm not picky, my wife doesn't like much salt. One issue with many chips is breakage holding up to dips/salsa. Ocho Salsa is smoother so I feel it can handle a thinner chip.

Its also fresh so that helps keep the salsa thickening like when its cooked in jarred.

I learned a trick I love in Youngstown (which is now a Pittsburgh suburb): Dipping fine cut coleslaw with tortilla chips. Adds salt and crunch. Love it!

This is interesting, I've never heard this. So its like normal coleslaw just fine cut, nothing more? I like coleslaw, more on the vinegar side but never thought of eating as a dip.

I loved Teaberry gum!! Hadn't thought about it years - guessing it's long-discontinued?

I think you can still find it. Cracker Barrel gift shops should sell it. Or online. And now I'm hungry for salsa.

Well weirdly it is still around. I would have guessed it would be too given its pretty unique. It was sold and no longer made by the same, not sure if it tastes the same as I never had it before. I have seen in around here, Grandpa Joes down the strip and I think several other places

Teaberry is currently manufactured in Morocco by the Gerrit J. Verburg Co. The gum dates to 1900 but the popularity of Teaberry peaked in the 1960s.

T-Bones Marketplace, Millvale Market, Harvey, or next month starts Bloomfield Market. We have a few other locations coming but more north in Cranberry/Mars areas. If you like salsa its worth it, I am biased but I also have been forced to taste way too many other salsas.

I find it the best commercially produced salsa.

My daughter was an Eat n Park manager for 14 years and I suggested that she enlighten the Broadhurst folks to the fact that their cole slaw was as bland as cole slaw can be. No luck. It still tastes like cabbage and nothing else.

Yeah I guess I like coleslaw, its never been anything special to me but I do like it a lot on things like sandwiches from living down south as its common on bbq. I like Primanti's sandwich, not so much for the fries (I still leave them on) but I do like their coleslaw a lot as its vinegar based more than most. My wife can't stand anything with much Mayo so she also likes theirs but not many others.

My memories of Lemon Blennd was drinking it on ice at the soda fountains at the local drug stores back in the 1960s. The drug stores all had a Lemon Blennd machine.

My brothers and I usually had a package of Lance cheese crackers with our Lemon Blennd.
