I recall someone saying they knew where the shooters reside, but still no information given to help, and in reading the article people that say something needs done aren’t interested in providing information to do something.

A big problem is that these criminals get spun through the revolving doors of justice to retaliate and do it again. A snitch is NOT a witness testifying in a random murder case. This is another one of those out of touch white assumptions. Fearing for your life and protecting your family is a totally different scenario. Not to long ago witnesses would come forth and the police would sloppily inform the accused of the witness or publish the name of the witness in print. The centuries old and warranted distrust of the police lead to where we are today. The police is not friendly to certain communities.

Crime is down in the city. Mayor Ed Gainey is not your great white hope. I get it. You are angry at something or someone but it's not Mayor Edward Gainey. You do not enjoy or use the city so why do you care anyway? I had a wonderful weekend in the city. Good food and beautiful people.

Lol at “white assumptions”. If you know where the shooters reside and give the information anonymously, you’re obviously not going to be testifying. You’re simply providing information for the authorities and powers that be can used to lead them to the killers and conduct the investigation. Folks that are even scared of that obviously live in fear anyway, yet continue to say something needs done. Anonymous tips are given all the time and in no way means having to testify unless one wants to.

Out of touch? Ask someone who has a "good citizen" testify as a witness against him what that "good citizen" is.
I taught too many kids who would administer a beat down to anyone who even looked like they'd talk about anything.

Lol. Just because you say it is doesn’t make it so, but please do provide proof to your claim as murders and stabbings continue…and because mounted patrols doesn’t mean proof.
Obviously not many have hope for Big Ed stopping the violence as he continues to be criticized and needs the county to step in and help, and always love your anger projection.
Of course I enjoy the city, and have family that still lives there along with friends. Great to hear, and helping the police with information to help find killers would make it even better.
