As you can see, you and I agree here.
I have no problem with a free ID issued by elections officials or other officials who are set up to do it. It is a good point that a specific charge for a voting ID could be construed as a poll tax. This is another issue but I think the same way on permits to purchase firearms or crossbows. Constitution guarantees the Right to Bear Arms & permits make a person jump hoops and pay to exercise a Constitutional right.

Yes, he was a poor excuse for a mayor or leader of anything. I heard 1 bit of news barely reported, that a salvage dealer offered New Orleans a deal on hauling away abandoned cars. City would tag cars & call him. He would come haul them away & pay the city a small amount for each car, then sell them as scrap. Nagin refused, saying the city would deal with it their way. Seems they wound up spending $ to do it, when they could have been paid. Guess he was going to pay a brother in law or something.

Are these folks voting now?

So far one guy, the homeless man, with no ID. Does anyone know if he has already been voting, if he registers in each town he comes to? What does he do for ID to cash a check or buy alcohol (if he drinks)?

Anyone else without an ID?

Why ? Because dead people make up the majority of their party.
