The busybodiness of BO's administration never ceases to amaze me.
Can't they let Arizona be?
Because the republikaaners there seem to be under the control of JT Ready and his National Socialist Movement. He seems to be everywhere with Arpiao or Pearce
If you are willing to admit that employing illegals is a crime. How many employers has Joe Arpaio shut down?
A couple McDonalds was the last places hit maybe a month ago. These businesses get too many warnings, they should lose their license on the first offense.

I don't recall BO being elected to babysit Arizona. That's a job for Arizona to worry about. I sure BO can find more worthwhile things to occupy himself with.
For starters, there these nut jobs in Iran and North Korea .....

Please take off the tin foil hat near the microwave, I hope the damage isn't too bad.
This white power guy sneaks in a photo with Arpaio and everyone thinks he is in control of the government. This douche calls into the conservative radio stations in town and says that sheriff arpaio is in bed with the jews along with the government. He can't get anyone to put him on the air anymore. I know there might not be much going on in sierra vista but let go of the conspiracy theories.

Is the action of shutting down businesses actually within Sheriff Arpaio's jurisdiction or is it his responsibility to turn that information over to ICE and the Justice Department to prosecute?
I'm all for severely punishing businesses/corporatons who knowingly employ illegal aliens. However, businesses/corporations must be allowed to have and use the tools to determine if those applying for employment are illegal. Right now the federal government has instituted a catch-22 making it illegal for companies to ask if someone is a citizen/has appropriate green card but illegal if they hire someone who is not here legally.
It is NOT ok to fine/punish businesses without also deporting the illegals working there as the Obama administration's current policy.
From the Christian Science Monitor, "The Justice Department lawsuit does not deal with 287(g) explicitly, but is looking into the allegations that the sheriff's office uses racial profiling during its sweeps to find and detain illegal immigrants."
Does anyone ever ask dark skinned legal Mexican-Americans how they feel about Arpaio or the new law? No. Doesn't anybody find that a bit interesting?
ROFL. Does AZ have a problem with illegals from Iceland? It would be kind of stupid to focus on blond haired blue eyed english speaking people when the problem is with brown skinned non-english spanish speaking illegals.
Just about as stupid as Airport security pulling an 80 year old woman out of line for a strip search.

In actuality, employers are encouraged to use E-Verify, though it is voluntary, but is mandatory for some:
Quote:
E-Verify is mandatory for some employers, such as those employers with federal contracts or subcontracts that contain the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) E-Verify clause and employers in certain states.
Since January 1, 2008, it has been mandatory for Arizona employers to verify the citizenship status of their new hires.

Ask Sherriff Devers in Cochise County, they jailed an employer for 2 years, ans that was before 1070. When you look at Arpaios record versus all of the law suits he is a dismal failure, you can't blame him on Obama, Bush started the investigation
