Let me get this straight. Beck could say our president has a deep hatred for white people, but Sanchez can't say jews run the media. I don't get this. please explain why some could say things and others can not?????
There's a big difference between giving your opinion about one man (the President) and making a blanket statement about all Jews.
"Jewish" is NOT a race. Saying that is a fact, not an anti-jewish opinion. And there's anti-semitism, but in mainstream America Sanchez is right.
So would you like it as an Italian American for me to make a blanket statement about Italians, such as calling most of them criminals and bringing back the age old discrimination they received?
If you were my boss and I did that in front of you would you be very happy?

Because on Fox any thing goes and others don't want to go way down there.
Wait a minute here, CNN finally fires that idiot Sanchez for stating his opinion on a radio show unrelated to CNN, but not for these embarrassing news atrocities made on CNN???
Aren't we all getting a little too sensitive here? Rick Sanchez is entitled to his own opinion and it's not like he made a racial slur against Jon Stewart or something. This is ridiculous.
He did more than mock Stewart. Read what he said.
I think CNN did the right thing. There's freedom of speech, giving your opinion and then there is stepping over the line and being discriminatory towards another group ON THE AIR.

Especially your bosses. It's called insubordination.

First video: Wow Sánchez should have known those are the Galápagos Islands (by the way Sánchez, those belong to Ecuador in case you didn't know)
Second Video: I don't see what's wrong about that. There are two measurement systems in use in the U.S. The ENGLISH SYSTEM (or Imperial) is the one most of us use, while the metric is mostly used in the scientific community. He merely asked in shorthand "9 Meters in English" instead of 9 Meters in English Units

There are exceptions:
It's always open season on muslims, arabs, commies, gays, atheists, liberals (same as commies), and not too seldom Europe, especially France.
These "exceptions" are quite often applied by the right: Fox, various talk shows.

He got fired because Sanchez said that the Jews control the US media.
He was immediately fired. That proved his point, lol.
