Which half of the American people do you love? It is so obvious that they have to have (D) behind their names.

Nope, I voted an I over a D this time. I have voted R in the past. All Americans are a mixture of something, be it race, or religion or politics, or something else or all of the above. If you saw or read Jon Stewart's closing speech, you will see him explain it better than I can.

Most of us love just about ALL of the American people. R's included.

I even love the folks at the University of Michigan, 364 days a year.

Well, yes, it was clearly well rehearsed too. They didn't just all happen to walk upon the National Mall by coincidence .

What event at the National mall isn't "staged"? It takes a lot of logistical coordination to pull something like that off and entertain a large crowd long enough so they'll stay around all afternoon. Daily and Stewart where at their classic best, exactly what the people in the crowd expected to see. It doesn't take anything away from the event, to have it well staged and running flawless.
