The pictures are here...

Comedians Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert - Yahoo! News Photos

Hippies have come a long way since the sixties. All one can do anymore is laugh in the face of the ignorance and heartlessness that plagues this country. I pretty damn sure this is what Stewart and Colbert were attempting to stress. Anyone that sees anything else is nothing but blind. Nothing new, hey?

In election's shadow, rally draws laughs, activism - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101030/ap_on_en_tv/us_stewart_colbert_rally - broken link)

My point exactly.

GOOD JOB GUYS.
"God Hates Snuggies"! ROTFL

The one in the foreground looks real but that one behind it that says, "Afraid yet" is pretty laughable.

If 150K were there today, 500K were at Becks.
Ooops! Why are you posting a picture from a different rally? Stewart's stage had a distinct wide white border up the sides and across the top - and there were fewer leaves on the trees.

They really need to fire the house tree-leaf-adjustment guy.

Although a search turns up this Msnbcmedia.com is hosted by: Unknown Hoster

he IP 211.106.65.118 links to a server in Seoul-t'ukpyolsi, Korea. The company behind this all is KRNIC.

MSNBCmedia.com :: msnbcmedia :: 070.com

In Korea, as though no one would notice.
LOL!
You beat me to the detective work.

I don't even see a signpost or hands holding up the one in the background, and the fonts are so black I immediately suspected a forgery.

Wow! That's pretty great What kind of a creepy website is that?

Look at the light on the little badge, on Ronald Reagan.

Doesn't it look like the Lincoln Memorial in the background? Though maybe people were there too.

I am so glad the extreme right is finally concerned about minorities! The restoring Sanity rally has reached even farther than I dreamed!

No, looks like Supreme Court.

They could be real signs, they seem to fit with the Colbert schtick of fear. It's subverting the Right's attempt to scare people with Obama as Hitler - and mocking it, as if just putting a little mustache on a person's photo really means anything. But certain things about the signs in that photo look fake. Does it really matter? (no, not in my opinion).

I liked the photo of the Charlie Chaplin impersonator with the sign about his little mustache.
