I can't believe what I just read. The President is taking a trip to India with 3,000 of his companions.(The article stated: Family,friends & staff). They rented out the Taj Mahal Palace & Hotel (all 570 rooms). Then comes the best part of the article: "at a cost of 200 MILLION PER DAY for the 10 day trip". Can you imagine the nerve of this man to be spending this kind of money when there are millions of people out of work and out of unemployment benefits and uninsured. The Senior Citizens can't get a raise in their Social Security checks because there's no money for that, so, can someone Please explain how this trip can be allowed. Doesn't anyone question this major expense?? The politicians don't want to extend UI benefits because they can't find the money to pay for them BUT a vacation is ok for the Pres. to blow 200 million a day for 10 days.
I questioned the last vacation, that the Pres. went on with his family, and a few people ,here, thought that it was ok for the Pres. to take his family along. Well, what do you think , now, that he is taking 3,000 people with him on our expense. How can this be justified at this point in our country's problems??????

34 Navy warships -Including an aircraft carrier, 13 heavy lift aircraft, 3 helicopters, 500 security personel sent before hand, 800+ hotel rooms, interception and obstruction devices, sniffer dogs, rescue gadgets, 40 car convoy and they even removed all the coconuts from the trees so one won't fall on his head. That does not include the 3000 in tow. I'm sure that's cheap. lol
I wonder what his carbon footprint is with 33 warships and an aircraft carrier cruising around the Indian Ocean...

Honestly, it depends how many business deals can be signed while he is there. France just received an enormous delegation from China at its own expense and signed around $14 billion worth of trade deals (in which France sells products to China, not the other way around).
So, watch for the deals that are announced. That will tell you whether or not we got our money's worth.

I hardly believe that there is ANYONE there in Washington who'll substantiate those numbers and I speculate that
if there were any truth to what seems to be, little more than another republican lie or a FOX news rumor. Then again,
