How, i sleep so much better and night knowing that the police are out there stopping illegal handjobs..
Why the hell is prostitution illegal? Isn't there real crime they should be going after?
Probably so we don't have red light districts in every city and openly have it on display at the Mall. Maybe you don't care if your kids are exposed to it though.
It's a problem until its legal and regulated. A lot of these "massage parlors," especially "Asian" spas, deal in trafficking of women, and forcing the women to do this work. The women are often kept as virtual slaves, and forced to work off debts to come to America (often under false pretenses to work in other industries) indefinitely.
It aint the bunny ranch out in Nevada.
So, until it's legal in a particular area, it's important to bust the pimps and the Johns. Mostly the pimps. It's usually not a high class call girl situation involving TRUE consent if there's another man threatening to kick the prostitute's @ss if she doesn't "work" for him.
You are so wrong. It is NOT important to bust these guys. That doesn't solve the problem at all. It just makes it worse.
If you are trying to protect women, then focus on that. Make it easier for women to report abusers. Solve the "woman slave" problem.

That's a stretch. Just because something is legal doesn't mean kids have to be exposed to it. Do you give everything that is legal to your kids?

This action by the cops helps nobody!
How does busting the guys make it "worse?" You can argue its ineffectual, but worse? How so?
Every problem has a "supply side" and a "demand side."
Without demand (Johns) no slave trade. Without slave trade ("massage therapists"), no demand. You have to go to both. In this case, through legalization (unlikely in our sex repressed society), licensing, education, etc. would put a curb on trafficking.... but so would making guys too scared to go to the "Tokyo Super Spa" if they really want a massage rather than Massage Envy.
Very Sad, but sad also, because of SUPPLY AND THE DEMAND. If there were no such demand, there would be no need. These here places need to be cracked down on, go after them, let them know, your watching them, jail them if you have to, this is still an exploit on Women, and this angers me.
And it leads to criminal intent on so many of these women, one thing leads to this, and another leads to that, the problem will always exist, while there is so much demand.
How do we stop this i am not sure, this is something that has gone on for so long now.
But i have heard in the past that young women have also been killed, and this also upsets me.
Always knew there was something going on at a lof of these massage parlors, not all, but so many are in it for one reason only.

If women were wired to be sexually promiscuous like men were, then there would be no demand.
For there to never be a demand then you'd have to either have an all female society, an oppressive matriarchy, or a society based on a strict interpretation of Sharia law in which said interpretation of Sharia is widely accepted by the population. The first two don't exist and the third is unlikely to exist in the US any time soon (hopefully it never will exist)
It's never going to go away. Legalize, tax, and regulate so as to end the violence and problems with human trafficking/illegal immigration.

That's why we have zoning laws. There are plenty of legal businesses that shouldn't be across from an elementary school.
