Um, the common ancestor (a Great Ape) from which Humans and modern Apes evolved DID die off (the best data suggest around 9 or 10 million years ago). Also, your suggestion that because a more advanced species emerges would mean the lower species should die off of is absurd. If that were true we'd have very little diversity. Lower and higher forms of live can co-exist.
Actually we would have no diversity at all. All life on earth probably began with a single species....We would still be bacteria.
It can't create a planet with just the right atmospheric mix of gases, and distance from the sun to sustain human life.

It was an act of nature that placed earth where it is....Chances are that there are billions of planets in the universe and many others suitable for life, or have life on them now...I would bet money that there is lots of life in the universe other than that on earth.

You're way underestimating. There are billions and billion of galaxies - each with either billions or trillions of starts and planets.
I do agree with both sides. I am religious, but I also believe in science.
I do not believe religion should be a public matter.
I also do not think it is possible to deny the existence or dinosaurs. It is also not possible that dinosaurs were people's pets like in the Flintstones.
