He might have gotten British citizenship from his father but he got American citizenship because his mother gave birth in the U.S. Consider him the first Anchor baby President if you will.
He's not an anchor baby.
His mother is/was a US citizen.
Under certain circumstances, US citizenship can be acquired via jus sanguinis from one's parents. The following conditions affect children born outside the US and its outlying possessions to married parents (special conditions affect children born out of wedlock: see below):[5]
If both parents are US citizens, the child is a citizen if either of the parents has ever lived in the US prior to the child's birth
If one parent is a US citizen and the other parent is a US national, the child is a citizen if the US citizen parent has lived in the US for a continuous period of at least one year prior to the child's birth
If one parent is a US citizen and the other parent is not, the child is a citizen if
the US citizen parent has been "physically present"[6] in the US before the child's birth for a total period of at least five years, and
at least two of those five years were after the US citizen parent's fourteenth birthday.

You do realize you're discussing U.S. citizenship, NOTNatural born U.S. citizenship status, right?
American citizenship? Yes. Natural born American citizen? No, as he was born owing allegiance to a foreign sovereign.
There are only two forms of citizenship, natural born and naturalized and since we know that Obama was never naturalized, that leaves but one other choice.
Anyway...
I think that this argument has been pretty much beaten into the ground in favor of the President, so I have no intention of rehashing all the citations, legal histories and Supreme Court decisions that have been posted over the course of the last two years that pointedly reject your interpretation.

I never said he didnt also get citizenship from his father but the Constitution states you must be a natural born citizen. Why do you think the founding fathers put the grandfather clause in the Constitution?
Why do you have an issue with him proving that according to the Constitution he is eligible to be president along with every other person that ever wish to be president.
I dont think its this should ever be in question if someone is eligible to be president. Thats just me. Obviously you dont care
Since he was born in Hawaii, does it even matter who his parents were? They could have been from Mars and Venus and he would still be an American
Americans are funny, they try to get rid of their president by desperately doubting his birth, while they readily accept an Austrian clown like Schwarzenegger as the head of their most important state...
1. Born on American soil are considered natural born citizens. OR
2. People who are born overseas to American parents.
Wasn't his mother a resident of Hawaii at the time of his birth?
The problem is in red, bolded, and underlined in your post, quoted above. Obama only has one American citizen parent.
Those born on American soil are American citizens. Natural born American citizens also have TWO American citizen biological parents, and can be born abroad in some cases.
Why do you have an issue with him proving that according to the Constitution he is eligible to be president along with every other person that ever wish to be president.
Because, unlike every other person who has wished to be president he has gone far beyond anything anyone else has had to go in order to do so. He has provided for the world to see his certificate of live birth, the state of custodian of those records have verified that he was born in Hawaii on the correct day, year and place. The report of the state custodian of birth records has been verified by the governor of the state.
WTFM is required. (please note that the absence of a question mark at the end of that sentence is not a mistake)
