There are 2 items that Congress has to take care of by 12/31

The issue of the Bush cuts
and
The issue of the AMT (if not "fixed" again..people making $75K will be considered wealthy enough to get hit with AMT)

Obamacare had 0 Republican involvement and 0 Republican votes.
The Dems have been running Congress since 2006.

Good plan actually, and it has worked as advertised in getting the GOP control of the House.
Soooooo........................................... ......
Expect more of the same, right up to the 2012 elections.

One can argue that the Dems got their notice on how the public feels about their policies Nov 2. If it was all the republicans fault the last 2 years the dems would have repeated 2008.
Americans don't want an amnesty for illegals. We don't want bigger more expensive government. We don't want foreign aid increased. Most of us don't want higher taxes. What we do want is less government spending. In fact if they would do a poll a would bet most americans would be for pay cuts for our elected reps.

Will the Dream Act, be placed with the tax cut extension?

Then the Republicans will, once again say, no.

Pelosi, is back to her old tricks. Reid is as slimey as ever.
They didn't pass a military spending bill, because the Dream Act was attached.
Do they really think they will pass this with it attached?
