What about the 2 Trillion we will spend to give tax extensions to the middle class? How can we spend that given your reason?

Huh!

GOP to block everything until taxes and spending addressed
Excellent news, all 42 Senators!

They need to block every piece of radical, leftist agenda items, starting with the Dream Act.

This is good news indeed and ONE reason WHY they won control of the House.

Why should anyone be surprised by this?

Since the day Obama took office, the GOP's #1 priority has been to bring him down, by grid locking government and blaming it on Obama and the Dems.
Good plan actually, and it has worked as advertised in getting the GOP control of the House.
Soooooo........................................... ......
Expect more of the same, right up to the 2012 elections.

You are proposing that 2% of the population pay for others handouts.....want a service than pay up, if not cut spending......

This alarmist article suggests the 700 Billion is rightfully the Govts. money....and it is not. Why don't you ask the people who are actually paying the bill and not those who benefit from the freebies...

Even if that were the case, do you not for even a second, think that obama isn't handing out rewards for the favors that got him elected?

Seriously?
So this is what its become, whatever special interests groups can buy the most Congress people gets to decide national policy or obstruct it.

We are completely screwed as a country.

We are about to see America fall as world power and a bastion of freedom.

So True.

Republican Minority leader, Mitch McConnell said, "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president,"

Obama cannot relent to these Jokers. If they want to shut the Government down let them.

Agree. Let 'em shut it down. Let them explain for the first time HOW they're going to balance the budget AND continue to operate the country. They want to show their extremist agenda, force them to. Cut the Dept. of Ed., cut the EPA, cut the Ag. Dept., FORCE THEM to, and provide reasons why.

FORCE them to lobby for the millionaire's WHILE they cut SS, Medicare AND the rest of the unemployment benefits.

SHUT IT DOWN.
