They don't do it out of hate. They do it because it is their religious duty. Killing and/or being killed in the cause of jihad is the ONLY guarantee of paradise in Islam.
Sura 9:111 sums it up:
“Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law (Torah), the Gospel, and the Qur’an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah?"
This verse claims that Allah also gave this command to the Jews and Christians in their holy books but, since those books do not contain this command today it is proof (for Muslims) that those books have been tampered with and are not reliable today.
More reason to profile members of this violent religion.

You can't go to war with a religion. History teaches that. No matter what you do religions and other belief systems cannot be wiped out by violence, they are only driven underground for a short time, and when they come back, the reprisals can be devastating.
True, but the US has decided that is the price we pay for oil. No one would care about mid-east if they had no oil. So, we need to drill more (raise supply - like Rs say), conserve more (lower demand - like Ds demand) and develop new technolgies. Till we are almost self-sufficent, we need to keep on paying the price.

So much for Freedom of Religion, huh? Ending all Muslim immigration would involve passing laws against a religion. I think our Constitution has something to say about that.
