End of story.
Fine. Just shoved to the ground and had her head "lightly pressed" against the ground. There, ya happy?? It's still unlawful assault, doesn't matter what you call it.

You can't go out on the street and do this to people and expect to get away with it. Go try if you don't believe me.

There is no justification for a shod foot on a person's head. Politics aside, and notwithstanding any convoluted rationalization for how the bad woman's head just happened to get itself underneath the nice man's foot, it just isn't acceptable in a sane and civilized society. But when we're talking right wing crazies and tea baggers, or any kind of thugs and bullies...sane and civilized doesn't enter into it.

I'm continually amazed at how profoundly undemocratic the average American is. Good thing we have a constitution to enforce what doesn't seem to come natural to the average Joe and Jane.

And for the record, no I'm not a lefty. I'm just not a partisan moron.
That crowd sounded pretty out of control to me. I guess if tea is going to condone this treatment of free speech they won't mind when the rest of us treat them the same. Hard to believe these are adults who have children. Appalling. High school violence is showing it's insane origins.

So you include banging on the vehicle transporting a candidate, shoving a sign through the window, only to be restrained for Law Enforcement to handle moments later as she was in the process of rushing the candidate, as in infringement upon free speech? Really?

Please cite an example where a Tea Partier has been documented as doing anything remotely similar at an election rally event. Link please.

Well said. If you notice on this thread as a perfect example, the ones most adamantly defending the criminal are the same ones that are also heavily right wing posters on this site. It's pretty disgusting that people will put sanity aside and will defend horrendous acts and terrible people just because they are affiliated with a certain political party.

I know that seems to bother you, sorry 'bout that.
Really? I don't believe either you nor I could rush the Presidential podium holding a sign under the claim we wanted our say without being tackled by Secret Service and sent of to jail.

At least attempt to make you argument with some degree of honesty. I do not condone the use of the foot on the shoulder; but, it was exceedingly far from "cowardly thugs stomping on her head."

There is a big difference between Tea baggers grabbing a woman and throwing her to the ground stomping her head and the Secret Service protecting the POTUS. There was a police officer or two around at the time and it did not seem they were concerned with Rand being attacked by a sign.

I think the Teabaggers were angry that she wasn't at home doing what they consider to be her job....
on her hands and knees washing the kitchen floor.

Or that they think she is stupid because she attended Columbia just as Obama had done.
