Over a million? Oh Please... Where in the world do you get your propaganda from?
Over one million Iraqis have met violent deaths as a result of the 2003 invasion, according to a study conducted by the prestigious British polling group, Opinion Research Business (ORB). These numbers suggest that the invasion and occupation of Iraq rivals the mass killings of the last century—the human toll exceeds the 800,000 to 900,000 believed killed in the Rwandan genocide in 1994, and is approaching the number (1.7 million) who died in Cambodia’s infamous “Killing Fields” during the Khmer Rouge era of the 1970s.

Now how did they do the count? Did they count actual bodies or did they do what other orgs have done in the past? That being going door to door asking" do you know anyone killed since the US invasion?"
The problem with that method of course is the repeat count on the same dead person.

It is an independent and reputable organization that does not have the obvious agenda that a military count would have. The best way to get an estimate is to ask the living who has died in their family, rather than depending finding bodies in the rubble after a building is bombed. A lot of bodies are never recovered.
No kidding. I'm so sick of this soldier worship that goes on. Get a life. If you can't think of any better way than killing thousands of other humans and squandering Trillions you're truly pathetic.
what is the old saying "America, love it or leave it"?
What "sacrifice" has a military member made? Just because they can't hack the real world does not designate low wage government murder-for-hire as "sacrifice."
have you ever had a family member serve in the military? have you ever seen a friend or a friends family either not return or return 1/2 a person physically? Do you know anyone who has put their career on hold so they could serve in the military? Have you witnessed the struggle enlisted families go through to survive on the salary many receive?

Nita
Fact is, many who attempt to join the military are rejected offhand because they do not qualify, and most of the rest have an ulterior motive, such as wanting to have their education paid for. The military is not so much a sacrifice, as an employment and educational opportunity.

Pure propaganda and you fell for it. Of course if you ask the Iraqis who was responsible they are going to say the US and allies. If they didn't they'd be killed by other Iraqis or AQ.

Pure propaganda. This is no way a reliable way to conduct the count. Muslims are trained liars, they are allowed to lie by the Koran to protect their Muslim brothers. Keep digging your hole.
I was hoping Iran and Iraq would go at it again before we had to go in. They do a pretty thorough job of butchering both sides.
