He has not been too vocal, compared to Slick Willie and no backbone Carter.

I totally support his decision. I just wish he had made this decision about 11 years ago.
It's a testament to te fact that the "George W. Bush Jr." brand just is not viable in terms of drumming up large scale political support.

It's also a testament to the economic and foreign policy disaster his Administraton was.

Default George W. Bush says he's done with politics

It just goes to show he's much smarter than some people thought, who in their right mind would want to be in politics

Congrats to a smart man

Its really what every expresident should do and most have done;which even the founders thought about .The exceptions lately have been Carter who seems to be trying to rewrite his histroy and often blaming democrats for his failures now and Clinton who just can't get off the stage. I really suspect that clinton is enjoying Obama factions losses after they boothed his faction out before getting the nomination.Oabma seems to be stuck in the same position of blamig Bush since the elctio instead of being able to take credit. I thought it starnge that he now say he saved the nation with te TARP idea. No one reallt is folled tho which adminsitration put TARP to congress.

I will miss him, because he is a constant reminder of Republican failure when they parade him out.

Thing about Bush, he took and accepted the blame, for many things that were put in place before him, and it fell in his lap.
