YAY, another Obama bashing thread!

Doesn't matter that the judge was flat out wrong in using that quote as any kind of legal authority (since it clearly wasn't).

Doesn't matter that the judge just completely ignored Wickard and Lopez and their actual legal authority covering this Law.

Let's just make fun of our President! Yippee!!

How pathetic.

Did you forget your coffee this morning?

The quoted part of the original post CLEARLY states that this was used in a FOOTNOTE within his ruling.

Please pay closer attention next time.

Yes, nothing in Wickard - Lopez pertains to forcing anyone (under penalty) to BUY something they may not want to purchase.

The Commerce Clause has NEVER been applied in such a manner before.

You clearly don't understand Wickard. I've already discussed it in detail in 2 other threads that are actually about the ruling. I'm not going to rehash it here in a thread that's nothing but a bash President Obama thread.

Then it's up to you to PROVE it.

I'm quite SURE I'm right.

Had you not missed my point, you'd know I've already discussed the applicability of Wickard in the threads that are actually about the ruling.

Feel free to be quite SURE that brown is blue, too. Won't make it any more true.
