I have no problem with civil unions if Homosexuals feel they need to be joined.
As far as I'm concerned I will never recognize two men of women as married, two men or women should be best friends not lovers anyone with common sense knows this it's a confusion in the brain, mental disorder, birth defect or just an emotional problem that has been accepted by society.
Maybe little Johnny had a bad time with the opposite sex at some point in his life or maybe he was just confused as to the difference in friendship and relationship, maybe his sister dressed him up too often or Mom had wished she had a daughter...young minds are easy to shape and everybody is suject to their enviroment.

We've had some problems here in NJ (we have civil unions) because they are not perfected and not exactly equal to marriage. More or less a separate, but equal kind of thing.
For example, a couple can be civilly unioned and one spouse wants to put the other spouse under their health insurance at work. If the wording says "i'd like to add my legally married spouse", then TECHNICALLY they aren't allowed to add their unioned partner.
For people who want to think civil unions is the answer-- do you support it being the same exact thing equal to marriage w/o any discrimination?

Actually, the field of psychology has determined that homosexuality is not, in fact, a mental disorder.
You should really educate yourself on this subject before forming such radicalized opinions. You're messing with people's entire sense of being by castigating them to some garbage heap of "disorder". Suicide rates are far higher because of this bigotry, so just be sure that blood isn't on your hands as well.

I think you accidentally typed, "common sense" when you meant to say, "a mental defect".
You don't think homosexuality is right. That's cool; you're entitled to your beliefs. But when you start claiming that anyone who does not think like you is somehow mentally deficient well...then you just come off sounding like an idiot.
I believe that a committed gay couple should have the same benefits of a married heterosexual couple.
Then people who aren't even gay but living together could just claim to be gay and get benefits. How convenient. It's all about the money now, isn't it?

The field of Psychology also put people who are depressed on drugs when depression is just part of life, they also put children on drugs if they don't payattention isschool so I take pretty much anything the "Field of Psychology" with a grain of salt.
the reason suicide rates are so high is because it is a disorder, My hands are clean I've never hurt anyone.
