I already did... My mom is from the Senefou tribe in Ivory Coast. Talk to the History Dept. where I got my bachelor's from.

Slavery is very different since it can also encompass very fundamentally different aspects. So no, slavery is not slavery...they can have very different meanings.

It wasn't, that is just propaganda.

I never stated that it was right or wrong. Every time I've put a a nuanced point, without fail you don't seem to grasp it. Why?

I simply stated that slavery in Africa was not the same, thus comparisons are not as analogous as you make them to be.

What was different about it? You must have something to add.

Many times they were integrated into the family and society, thus not merely seen as property.

It really depends on the cultural understanding of the definition.

Sometimes it was bad, sometimes it wasn't as bad. It merely depended.

SourD I already did explain...twice.

What definition are you going by?

Blacks owned slaves in America as well.

Your example does not hold weight.

And the a lot of slaves here in the US were brought into the families as well. Your point? You still haven't shown anything to differentiate between the 2.
