During SPECIAL session, they can vote WITHOUT any notice. That is how OUR LAW in Wisconsin is written.

The judge has a problem:
Quote:
The Open Meeting law says that the legislature's rules trump the Open Meetings law when the two are in conflict. And the legislature's rules hold that during a special session, under which the legislature had been operating, the only notice required is a posting on a bulletin board in the capitol

Love those separation of powers.

And, no, it's not Obama's fault.

I think it has to go through the process, but even if the state supreme court votes against it, all the Governor has to do is, lock the doors, make sure the dems don't run away again, and vote. The court can't overturn it then; they are not supposed to legislate from the bench.

At 4:30pm on Friday afternoon post that there will be a special session to vote at 8:30 am on Monday morning. If the dems skip out over the weekend they were given over 48 hours notice - Problem solved !
