Still that wasn't good enough so the republican governor of Hawaii publicly stated that Obama was born at Kapi'olani Hospital: "I had my health director, who is a physician by background, go personally view the birth certificate in the birth records of the Department of Health, and we issued a news release at that time saying that the president was, in fact, born at Kapi'olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. And that's just a fact and yet people continue to call up and e-mail and want to make it an issue and I think it's again a horrible distraction for the country by those people who continue this."Hawaii governor announces 'exact' place of Obama birth
so clearly, nothing they do will ever "end all this" for the simple reason that birthers are completely irrational.
First off, Obama was born in Hawaii, making this argument irrelevant.
Secondly, the law (at the time, not now) said regarding a child born abroad: if only one parent was a US citizen, that parent had to have lived in the US for 5 years after the age of 14 for the child to be a US citizen.
What this means is even if the US born parent was 50 (say it was the father), he had to have lived in the US for 5 years after age 14 for the child to be a US citizen. So Obama's mother's age had nothing to do with it, other than that she was too young to have lived anywhere for 5 years after the age of 14.
There is absolutely no evidence that Obama's mother lived anywhere other than the US any time before his birth, or at the time of his birth. Obama was born in Hawaii.

you might want to do some research about what a "real" birth certificate is. A souvenir certificate issue by the hospital with a baby footprints is cute and parent go "AWWW" while looking at it. But it's completely worthless from a legal point of view so you might as well dump it.

A footprint? Surely you jest. Footprints aren't really even legal ID, let alone anything else. Do you think he had a microchip embedded in his feet that when put under the right light (or something) will tell where he was born?
