They stopped issuing the long form in the 90's, in 2001 they changed all of their records to digital and stored it on computer. Those who have the long form from the time Obama was born either still have their old copy or requested a certified copy from before it was changed. Anyone requesting a certified copy of their birth certificate from the Hawaii Dept of Records Vital Dept section from 2001 onward has gotten a copy very similar to Obama's state certified copy which was issued in 2007.
Arus, why is it that people have acquired the long form birth certificate from Hawaii for themselves and/or their children, that were born within days of Obama, but he can't do what they did. How come?

As of 2001, you can only get a digitally reproduced COLB. As of 2001, ALL newborns in Hawaii, their COLB is the same COLB that Obama received.
Obama's mother PROBABLY received somehting similar to the Nordykes, in the 60's
Its been 50 years. In that time, people can lose things. And with the moving that Obama's family did in the FIRST part of his life, they probably DID lose his original certified copy.
Maybe his FATHER took the certified copy with him when he moved to ATTEND Harvard?

What is not strange is what Fukino could comment on, if you bothered to read the ARTILCE THAT We've all linked to several times.
She was asked to look at the records by the then REPUBLICAN appointed staff at the Department of Health and to make a comment. She did what she was asked to do
You however fail to realize, that she could only comment on what is already known, since Obama released that information publicly. That she coould only confirm what was publicly revealed by Obama as to what was on the forms they have in archive. And that is what she did. She confirmed that hte COLB as posted by Obama online matches the archived information they have at the Department Of Health in Hawaii. She confirmed nothing more.
She can't:
1) tell you what hospital he was born at (despite him being the one who publicly released that information - since that was DONE after she made her initial comments in 2008 and 2009 - the information about his Birth Hospital was confirmed after her two official statements)
2) tell you what doctor's or nurses signed the original form
3) his weight
4) his length
5) whatever birth information that HE didn't provide.
You can't compare it to Nordyke because:
1) she was never asked to confirm Nordyke's Twins information
2) Since Mrs. Nordyke herself released the certified copies of what they would have on archive, no comment would be needed.

If the State of Hawaii did a 180 degree on their policy and posted the "long form" of President Obama's bc on the Internet for Donald Trump and the rest of the Birthers to see, it would change absolutely nothing. We would then have to contend with forgery/fakery allegations from the chorus of cuckoos. This birther nonsense is a slippery slope in which President Obama has no benefit in satisfying these dodos. I, for one, am glad that the President is basically telling these birthers to buzz off.

you'll also notice the nordyke cert on the web is a copy from 1966. today they would recieve the same copy as obama.
