Yaaaay...you're a black conservative calling out black people!! Now all of your white conservative friends will respect you and invite you out for dinner....cuz you're such a swell (black) fellow.
*Sigh*.....pathetic.
Can you read???
Go back to my orginal post.
What's really pathetic is that we as black people have been fighting tooth and nail to be treated like everybody else!!
AND WHEN WE FINALLY GET TREATED LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, YOU PLAY THE RACE CARD!!!
Bush was called dumb....so they went and got his transcripts!! He produced his birth certificate when asked!! So did every Prez before him!!! WHY SHOULD THIS BE DIFFERENT?
But when we treat Barack the same way!!! When We ask for the same @#!* stuff and now the Race Card is played!!
Why are we lowering the bar for him?? Why should it be any easier on him than Bush or Clinton or Reagan?? WHY!!!???? Don't we think he can take it??? Do you feel he's the most qualified guy on the planet to take the heat of the big seat????
Keep in mind that a substantial percentage of voters (maybe 25% or so) are racial minorities. If a black candidate gets 99% of that vote, as Mr. Obama did and will again in 2012, he/she starts with a substantial advantage over a white candidate. Throw in the vast majority of white females, who vote out of compassion and emotion rather than logic, and who constitute the single largest voting bloc, and any black candidate with a modicum of qualifications should be considered the odds-on favorite in a national election.
On the other hand, now that we've had a black President, the other disadvantaged "minority" groups [women (though considering women a disadvantaged minority may be the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on our gullible republic), gays, Latinos, transgendered, etc.] will begin clamoring that it is their turn next. The potent far-left junta of mainstream media, universities, and public and federal employee unions will do its best to serve their wishes. And, really, that's as it should be. De Tocquevile observed long ago that America would eventually devolve into a conglomerate of pressure groups eager to get their hands on the federal purse by way of celebrating their own special differences, at the price of dissolving the nation's sense of unity and purpose -- and its essential reason for existence.

Why the **** is this always about race on this forum??? I'm a liberal, I don't agree with the OP, but man... Is this what the U.S is about now? I'm a naturalized U.S. citizen. I've never experienced racism here. Thankfully ( I must say ), I wasn't born here, wasn't born into this mind-set a lot of people have. I don't think Conservatives dislike black Americans. How many anti Europe threads have you seen on here? Yeah, plenty. They don't care... They care equal opportunity haters. Skin color does not matter...
I'm really ****ing sick and tired of hearing this. I'm sorry for the language, but it's true. Hispanics don't care about this, immigrants don't care about this. This seems to be an exclusive feud of American born black Americans and American born white Americans.

Just a quick opinion from an old Caucasian Woman....
I'd vote for a black man or black woman for president, (I can't say again, because I didn't vote for Obama.) If... his/her political agenda was more in line with mine. But... I am extremely tired of being called racist when I say I didn't vote for him.
I guess I'd like to think that we as a nation are smart enough to look past skin color when casting our votes..... The big question is.. when is either party going to give us truly GREAT candidates, because all I'm seeing are the same ole-same ole, whichever is the better of two evils candidates. I want a candidate beholding to no political affiliation or special interest group, but is beholding to the PEOPLE!!
You have no idea what a socialist is...But I wont get into that as that was 2009's mantra. We're moved to selective service gate.
Obama is a very good example of what a socialist is, and so is Fidel castro and Chavez. people who love to spend other people's money or give away other people money. they are socialist. people who can not see this, have socialist glass or are getting something for nothing!
I don't believe everyone would be considered racist because their are some good hearted folks out there in all races. But, and yes but, is when I hear people say America has gotten past that. That's the most ridiculous statement ever made. Racism will be here till Jesus comes, literally. I watched a white politician about 5 years ago on PBS, and out of his mouth came, "I don't believe racism is still around, because I don't' see. And I was like, are you living on Pluto. I have lived it. Stupid hatred for no reason has no color. It's simply hatred. With no validity. I worked with a guy, who happened to be white, and when President Obama won, the next day he comes in the job and literally yells out, "That black man is not my President! All I could say was Wow. Now how racist was that.
It is unfortunate that Obushm...er Obama may actually ruin things for black candidates in the future. I'd happily vote for Alan Keyes or maybe Allen West if he decides to run in the future.
When will "the masses" learn that "The President" will always be a good actor: Ronald Reagan set precedent with that one.
