This is as shocking as Al and Tipper Gore separating.
He chose her because he could control her. She was under his roof and he controlled her employment. She had enormous incentive to keep her mouth shut, whereas a non-employee would have no such compunction. That's why they call it sexual harassment when a person of authority seeks out an employee for sexual gratification.

I have no idea why rightwing hypocrisy should surprise me anymore, but this statement by him, while he knew full well he'd contributed to this so-called "problem", is so egregious and obnoxious it makes me sick. Isn't it charming how these people are continually blaming Maria and not the actual perpetrator of this vile betrayal?

I know this is none of my business but in this picture, Arnold is posing very lovingly with the other woman. He actually looks happy. Maybe he did love her. Also, she must be very short because Arnold isn't tall.
