He put his money where his mouth is. He had the courage and conviction to take up arms in the defense of his country. He was wounded while doing so. That's substantially more than can be said for the vast majority of windbags in power here.
I just can't get past the fact that an opposition leader would say things like that about the PM. Is there a chance that he only wants the job. Politics in Israel is much like they are here.

Obama has insulted Israel and their PM more than once since taking office. It was high time someone talked to Obama the way he has talked to others. He not only spoke to Obama how he should have after the way Obama has treated him and Israel but he basically gave him a crash course history lesson making O look foolish.
I stand by Israel in this case over our President. Also, those thinking of running in 2012 can take some hints and lessons from Netanyahu. No bs and dont take any crap. Call someone out, in this case Obama, when they are wrong. He did it with out shouting, without name calling. Just laying out the facts and standing strong for his beliefs and his responsibilities to his people.
Too many of our progs just don't see that going back to 1967 boundaries would be the end of Israel. They have borders now that they can defend but wouldn't have if Israel gave in to Obama.

That is exactly the problem. People don't understand the border issue and many people, like myself, don't understand how the US can support a terrorist organization like Hamas. I feel like Alice in Wonderland these days.
It is not polite to be rude to your close friend in his living room especially when the press is recording the whole conversation.
Obama's an idiot without an ounce of experience or diplomacy who not just insulted Israel but spoke to undermine long-standing American support. He needs to go!
