And yes, Germany had once upon a time a quite strong socialist party, when the social security was established, like our pension system and health care system. They are declining, but they are still pretty good. And in most of Europe they have a similar system, so if you call that socialism, fine. At least in Germany you don't have to be afraid to lose your house because you get ill. Or that you can't afford health insurance. Why, because everybody has to pay for it! So everybody can afford it. And yes, sometimes you have to bail out your brother, and it sucks. Europe is more like: one for all and all for one. America is more like, mine, mine, mine, who cares about the other.
