Why do liberals constantly attack conservative spokesmen and women?
Because they break the myth perpetuated by government and their pawns the teacher's union.
Most of these folks started off broke and made something of themselves.
You copy those who made it in the field you are in, not government.
These creatures have been paid muliple millions of dollars to preach nonsense to fools. That is why the "hate" America. It has made them rich.
The people listening to these conservatives buy the products being advertised because they want to patronize the companies sponsoring the show.
Conservatism sells, liberalism isn't nearly as marketable.
The usual right wing assumption is that they are the patriots. They are the defenders of the republic. They are the glue that holds America together.
If that's the case, I have some inconsistencies to point out.
1. Why is it that these right wing talk jocks "support the military" yet none of them has served a single day; indeed some went to lengths to avoid service.
2. How is daily spouting aimed at angering their audience with divisive half-truths and mischaracterizations at helpful to America? Portraying fellow Americans as enemies is hardly patriotic in any sense. It's demagoguery, pure and simple.
3. Fostering a "no compromise" mindset is the opposite of political activity. It results in deadlock. Politics is the art of compromise.
4. While falling over each other to denounce unions, these guys are union members themselves.
I love when liberals use divisive half-truths and mischaracterizations which are code for - you got us. Yep we're all a bunch of Communists set to destroy the U.S. Yep, we hate the Constitution. Yep, we hate the founders. That's really what they mean to say !!
Every part of these peoples job and or their voice is directed with purpose and or just to fill space on the air. A voice of freedom mixed with a voice of business sponsers brings about more problems and propoaganda then is needed. Thou you find this in all large media companies.
This propoganda serves only the government political party and or a business speical interest and on ocassion they actually promote liberty it is rare. RUSH and LEVIN ARE party line republicans, often swtiching ideas based on whatever the wind is blowing to keep listeners. When they aren't sure they just pretend to have no favorite and blame the democrats. Beck is a mix of i will do what I want and lose my job for it :-)
Beck might be the closest to actual telling you what he means and thinks.
the 'conservatives' on this board sure do like arnold schwarzenegger and think nothing of his cheating on his wife and fathering children out of wedlock. What the F are you talking about? Conservatives think Arnold is a big Democrat with a R by his name. He did try once to his credit to take on California unions, after that he was as left as any Democrat around and then some. As far as his cheating ways, that is IMO more Hollywood than anything else. They are more pagan then anything else IMO.

Yep, liberals are smart enough to judge a product on its merits rather than who's show its maker pays for.

You act as though the money comes from some mystery source.
Advertisers foot the bill. Advertisers benefit from people who listen to the show that buy their products. So it's America freely footing Limbaugh's millions through the companies that advertise on the program.
