That's what I want to know. If it's made by man, it's gonna fall apart one day

It ain't like conservatives haven't had their chances and considering the result of their efforts there ain't much evidence of their successes.

That's like writing a paper for college and only writing the first draft and not fixing it because you'd be 'anti-paper'.

It makes no sense. It's silly.

Also, isn't is really the ego talking when some other country has something that works better and instead of considering it, you stamp your feet and just proclaim you're the best. because instead of doing the BEST thing you feel like you're being put down if you are not INNATELY the best at everything?

Are republicans like WWE wrestlers with big egos?
Where have any conservatives stated they believe the US is perfect as is?

Disagreeing with liberal bliss ninnies whose primary goal seems to be turning the US into a more socialistic version of Europe is not implying a belief that the nation can't be improved.

This thread is at best an ill thought out attempt at bashing those that reject your vision of hope and change. Given the sheer numbers of those that oppose your agenda your claims that you and others of your ideology know what is best for the nation is utterly laughable. If there is any big ego demonstrated in this thread it's coming from the presumptive ramblings of the OP.

You mean better health care, higher level of education, better quality of life, a longer life, less child mortality, more holidays (USA= 4-10 days per annum. Europe= 25-30 days), less working hours (a typical employed American puts in something like 1,877 hours in 2000, compared to 1,562 for his or her European counterpart), paid maternity leave, better sex education for children, less people in prison (the EU has 87 prisoners per 100,000 people; America has 685), healthier food and better public transport. Heaven forbid that that the USA ever gets like that ...huh?

Long live America.....where the pursuit of wealth, size, and abundance are material surrogates for happiness

PS. Our women are prettier too!

No, that wasn't what I meant but thanks for playing. The US isn't Europe and a substantial number of our citizens have no desire that it ever should be.

It's great that you're happy in Spain. It's a wonderful country and you'll get no argument from me that it contains a high number of beautiful women. That said, I would not presume a right to suggest Spain should become more like the US. Why would you presume a right to suggest the US should become more like Spain?

I'm of the opinion the direction of a nation should be determined by it's citizens rather than influenced by the opinions of citizens of other nations.

Oh oh, I can answer that! Because liberals are "world citizens" and these "world citizens" want the world modeled after Europe

Why do conservatives believe if you don't think america is perfect you're anti american?

I don't have much of an opinion on 'america'... north, south or central. I do find the United States to be pretty cool and if, as established was good enough for George Washington and his cronies, then it's good enough for me. Fixing the discriminatory parts was cool, too. Maybe securing the borders against invasion would be a good idea.

Why do you equate love of country with love of government?
