So was Harold Camping. He reset the date for Oct. 21. Stay tuned.

All one need do is search your posts and the truth is obvious. I especially liked the one about "the only racism I ever hear is from the right"...

You do know it's a sin to lie... right?

Does anyone really believe that Christians don't think Camping is a nut? How blind the sheep are, not to understand the reason for main scream presses field day with this guy. The only purpose of which was to highlight how ALL Christians are nuts. Pick your story, the nut burning the Kuran, Camping... the Christian nut of the week. Yet extreme Muslims aren't terrorists, or even extreme Muslims, just extreme people. When's the last time anyone saw a story on how local churches are doing so much good? After all, they are the biggest donators to communities through food banks, homeless shelters, orphanages, and counseling services. But don't let the overwhelming positives get in the way of hate driven, anti-Christian rhetoric. I guess freedom of religion has declined into the depredation of any religion that one doesn't agree with. I'm not seeing rainbows from activists anymore, just arrows. Funny how people start dishing out exactly what they say they've hated.

Not feeling all warm and fuzzy about the direction we are headed into.

He may be raptured before then. Last I heard he had a stroke right after May 21. He's quite elderly and, judging from a picture I saw of him, he looked like he was ready for the embalmer.

I grew up and don't believe Santa and other such things anymore, but it's nice for those who still do that there are more "christ-like" churches around.

Oh please media please, take your all powerful boot off the throat of those who worship an imaginary sky tyrant.

Please, totalitarian capitalistic Christians run this joint, lock stock and barrel. Why else would porn, liquor and lard sell so well?

Why should children be allowed to pray in public school?

Why should they NOT be allowed to pray in schools? Having a walk with God isn't something you turn off just because you're in a public place, or there might be an atheist nearby. If someone praying hurts ones atheism so badly then maybe atheism isn't a solid enough belief system.

The President takes his oath on a Bible, swearing to God that he'll protect the Constitution. Why would that be if our founders weren't driven by a belief in a God? Do atheists dread paying for their goods with bills that say "In God We Trust"? I'm sure these things are next on the suppress list.

Nobody is stopping anyone from praying in school, it just cannot be school sanctioned or led. In my HS they had a group that prayed before and after school, and had meetings at lunch...as long as I wasn't forced to participate (which is what you're gunning for, it seems...) I don't really care. When you lead a classroom and force everyone to pray, that's when it crosses the line.

Yes, the President takes his oath on a bible...but isn't required to. He (or she, in the future) can take his oath with whatever he wants, or nothing at all. Most of the founders were deist or agnostic, this is easily verified by reading their letters.

As for the 'in god we trust' stuff, this Atheist couldn't care less. If religion wants to claim greed for it's own, it's no bother to me.

so youre saying because it doesn't happen to you, it doesn't happen? I'm trying to understand your point. It does seem to read that you are blaming the victim. Liberals use to preach against that, but here you are doing it. Please do explain.
