The Tea Party won't be satisfied until the federal government shrinks and follows the Constitution. This is the best time. Rather than ween ourselves from credit, we are going cold turkey. It won't be easy but it is better than digging the hole deeper and trying to crawl out.

I am right and the OP is correct. You Tpers do not want the debt ceiling raised. That is what Paul is advocating isn't it. Why give the detailed explanation that not raising the debt ceiling will have little impact if he was in fact wanting to raise the debt ceiling. HE does not want to raise the debt ceiling. He is just saying it is not necessary. Just be intellectually honest about it.
There are two Paul's, Rand is in the Senate, Paul is in the House. They do not hold the same position on CC&B. Anyone paying attention to the debt debate knows this. Why didn't you?

Perhaps you should direct that to your right wing friends. One of them in another thread said if Obama uses the 14th Amendment, they will use 2nd Amendment remedies to overthrow the dictator.
DHS and Secret Service might need to be called on that person.

No, I could never get that frustrated. If you got to know me, you'd learn quickly that I value stability above nearly anything else. Once you go down the other road, it gets dangerous.

I've never read Saul Alinsky and know next to nothing about him. I'm not an activist. I'm just a citizen who sees the tea party for what they are--economic hostage takers, and I'm giving my opinion that they need to be voted into irrelevance or out of office altogether. Translate that what you will.
