I believe I heard of a number of Loyalists around 1776 who were eager to compromise or "just get along."

Where is this plan the Tea Party rejected? Where is the obama plan to cut spending? We have an Obama proposed budget that was laughed so hard out of Congress that NOT ONE member voted yes on it, and you want to think this was a bipartisan deal?

The man couldnt even get ONE MEMBER of his own party to vote yes on the bill

Right. Because those crazy radicals that were freely elected wanted to stop spending money we don't have.

Don't worry, Obama and the super committee took care of that problem.

Hands off, laissez-faire, the natural order of things. But you want more than everyone else on the planet and you made that perfectly clear with your progressive plans and schemes that were born with the birth of this nation.

Now your progressive orgy is caving in on you and it's certainly not ironic that the guy in the White House has been labeled the most progressive person available.

The only reason Obama doesn't want to make needed cuts is all egotistical. You wouldn't want to go down in history as Hoover either.

The problem is you need to let things balance out and that means you giving up 80% of the things around you. Only then can you and the planet move on.

The first day that any, just one revenue was discussed in the "gang of six" talks, Cantor walked out.

No, they have a reason. The reason is - they can't find any other way to justify their protests, so . . . in the well-established style of Pelosi and Reid, they decide anyone who disagrees with them is a hater and/or a racist, lol.

The name-calling has not done a thing towards making it more likely that folks across the aisle will deal with these BULLIES.

The Pubs today represent nothing more than a continuation of Bush, which is why we're in the state we're in. This is clear and understood by those who will be voting for an Obama reelection and for extracting the worthless GOP contingent from Congress and offices around the country.
Those crazy Tea Bagger's at S & P said cut $4 trillion or we'll downgrade you.

Then those brilliant Harvard'ers in the white house said step off S & P, we'll do whatever we want.

Amazingly, and out of the blue, S & P downgraded those intellectuals in the white house.

Which is what your business leaders are doing and they're walking out and moving overseas.

Your plan is to say "fine, goodbye. We're going to tax more for the remaining time that it takes for you to move over there."

And you wonder why they're moving faster and faster.

Yeah because Democrats only know one way of raising revenues, which usually results in decreases. "TAX THE RICH".. Anything beyond that is simply outside their ability to comprehend.

Hell, Obamas own job "Czar" is moving jobs overseas, and you want to sit here blaming the GOP.. Give it a break.

Whooooaahhhh - wait a minute.

I would have walked out, too.

THe President threatened Cantor with, "Eric, you better not call my bluff."

Damn right he walked. These type of bullying tactics by the President, the White House and Reid and Pelosi have to CEASE.
