i want the GOP to acknowledge my existence and explain why they should get my vote. i dont want them to avoid me and instead sell themselves to the base(whites).
i dont go out and vote for people. they need to convince me that they deserve my vote. when the GOP doesn't even bother speaking with me or trying to convince me, then why would I ever bother voting for them.

thats one of the reasons why are political system is in such disarray. people will give there vote away without holding anyone accountable.

perfect example of that is the gang banging commercial by a GOP group in the recent california congress special election.
it featured black and hispanic males gang-banging the democrat female.

As has been proven on this thread numerous times and in poll after poll, black Americans are the most conservative group when it comes to social issues like gay marriage and pro life; that's why this thread was made, because of the apparent enigma of black Americans voting pattern.

what do you call it when the GOP panders to the evangelical vote?, the NASCAR vote? the soccer moms?, the hillbilly vote?. Those are specific groups too. Each party has its special interests that it caters to.
So, help me understand. If a Republican plays this, it's "garbage", but if it's on the billboard top 100, it's "art?'' Aren't most rappers who put out that garbage ardent Obama supporters?

Pandering is pandering. Special interests are what has ruined this country, as has telling one entire group of people that they are "less than" as the dems have done to black Americans.
