Yeah, we have no cellphone service here either. Most people can't call out it seems like.

I'm sure Western and Alaskan folks chuckled a bit at the response to this small of a quake, though buildings in the East aren't built for this generally. If a big quake hits again (the New Madrid Fault, for example, as it did roughly 200 years ago), it will cause destruction on a massive scale.

Lol I doubt they are liable for being unprepared for an Earthquake. We don't exactly have them often here in the mid atlantic

Don't you think your god, as I've heard him described, would be more accurate if he were going after Obama?
Do you just sit around waiting for something like this to happen so you can find a way to link Obama to it?

Lulz.

The sad thing is, I am sure there are people who really do blame Bush for this earthquake.

The Pentagon wasn't evacuated. People left, because of the equake. They weren't instructed to do so.

I doubt it was any vengence from God. Had it been there wouldn't be folks on here talking about their house shaking.

More likely the quake was caused by so many over weight Americans moving down to Texas.

Actually the entire Eastern U.S. does have the danger of severe quakes. They just don't happen as often as other parts of the country.
