I just posted the very first thing I saw on google. why don't you try googling it yourself. Try CNN and Wall Street demonstrations. You probably won't find anything under riot, because there isn't actually a riot go on there.
Thinking about e-mailing your friends and neighbors about the protests against Wall Street happening right now? If you have a Yahoo e-mail account, think again. ThinkProgress has reviewed claims that Yahoo is censoring e-mails relating to the protest and found that after several attempts on multiple accounts, we too were prevented from sending messages about the “Occupy Wall Street” demonstrations.
Was this protest just an elaborately pathetic excuse to look for police brutality where there is none, and flood courts with frivolous lawsuits? Going by that video with it's "omg his fingers are discolored omg omg omg hey what's your name what's your name omg omg omg" stupid BS, wasting everybody's time appeared to be the goal here.
Way to go, pampered upper middle class rebels. Thanks for the heads up.
I wonder what those two college boys did that got them arrested. One of them was smart enough to walk to the paddy wagon but the other one just kept rolling around and refusing to walk.
I really wonder what their progressive professors will be saying when they get a chance to see the heroes. You do know, of course, that this whole thing was organized by older men, many of who took part in the first Day of Rage thing in 1968 or 9. You know those people like Bill Avery, Bernadine Dohrn, and some of those old Weather Underground people. You do know that many of those people found themselves in professorial jobs and are still doing it.
Once more, that video was a pure crock of Pelosi and there were few if any more bits like on it.
There has been a media blackout on the events taking place on wall street. thousands are camping out in protest of the money that was stolen from all of us and the poverty that so many americans and peoples around the world find themselves in as the transfer of the money makes many poor and the rich more rich.
the world may be watching - but Americans arent seeing it except here...
Well, there is only a certain amount of air-time and the commercial slots sell better when the media runs stories about new naked celebrity picks that have popped up on the internet.
I know... maybe if we protest wall street naked! Somebody call Daryl Hannah!
That's because the three people that did show up are all related to each other. All the people that didn't show up realize that their retirements are linked to K-Street and denigrating a supposedly reactionary system where people take gambles to try and make money is just silly. You know, the grownups.
Damn that capitalism...give me good 'ol "das Kapital"...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-1K2mT5NCM... heck with making some of them poor...let's make em all poor... except for the Nomenklatura: The Soviet Ruling Class.
hah ha!
