The tax base is $1M and that is just his vacation home, the assessment value is grossly understated considering the location and size of the house. His gross earnings on his films, coupled with the fact that he owns a very expensive Manhattan apartment as his primacy residence helps to reinforce my hypothesis that he exists in the 1%.

He's done well. But one must admit he did not get so well off by bribing congressman, writing legislation to benefit himself and above all receive billions in tax bailouts and then have the gull and power to announce that he paid it all back with interest in record braking time.
