What is unbelievable is that you aren't able to see that he runs his mouth about sharing wealth, and doesn't bother to share his OWN. He advocates socialism....but for OTHER people,..not himself.
I am sick of people like moore coming off with this holier than thou attitude when they never volunteer to do what THEY CLAIM to believe is the right thing to do, and share THEIR wealth.
How do you know what he shares and what he doesn't share? And how do you know if he volunteers or not? Are you privy to his every move that you know for a fact he isn't donating or volunteering?
FedGov, Inc. doesn't have to "vanish". They will decrease in size by 25-40% pretty easily, and pretty rapidly. Power is irrelevant to this occurring. The Soviet Union transformed from world power to almost turd world overnight. A lot of things changed overnight during the 2008 crisis, and I would imagine the same will happen after the FedGov, Inc. bubble bursts. Combined with increasing interest rates on the horizon and the dragged out dissolution of Fannie/Freddie, I would imagine we could have a rather fun time ahead for many in those areas.
Like I said, you have less to worry about if you paid long ago. The coming NoVA housing crash won't mean as much to you since you won't be underwater.
Apples and Oranges.Yes the fed can shrink, but I'll wager most of the shrinkage will occur mostly elsewhere in the US. Keep in mind most of the fed is not here in the DC area but spread out.

It makes no sense to suggest that the biggest concentration of government workers and lobbyists will experience little impact while the rest of the country will reduce in size. If the reduction is uniform (best case scenario), then the 25-40% shrinkage (necessary for a more balanced budget) will occur in DC as well, maybe an even higher proportion.
It's interesting though. People will always say it's different where they live. Even here in Raleigh, after 2008 people denied it would spread out to us. After all, they say, we have Research Triangle Park. Of course, it's happening here as well. Sometimes it sucks to be right so often.
No one is decrying his accumulation of wealth. What is being decried is his stinking hypocrisy which is all too typical of wealthy liberals.
Micheal Moore's wealth doesn't come close to this.
Quote:
The combined net worth of the 400 wealthiest Americans, as measured by Forbes magazine, was $1.5 trillion; and the combined net worth of the poorer 50 percent of American households was $1.6 trillion.
He can't say he's among the 99%, no. I mean, he can say it if he wants. And I can say I'm a ghost or a martian.
Right. But he can support policies and candidates that will help the middle class, even if he has a big house.
