For some of you this is sad, for other blood thirsty savages this is probably awesome as hell!

Enjoy either way!

I am certain that the kids were given every opportunity to move to an area that did not block the public thoroughfare. They made a choice to stay put, and suffered the result.

Yes, pepper spray is most effective when sprayed at the face.

And if the cops had instead gone in and physically wrestled these protesters out of that spot I'm sure you'd have started a thread about that too. Pepper spray was an attempt to get them to move without that.

Other people (the majority) have rights too, and these clowns blocking the public thoroughfare impedes on that.

Yeah, they appeared really violent and definitely should have been pepper sprayed in the face for everyone's safety.

There is always fear that a bunch of kids sitting in the ground could break out into a flash mob

I do agree, the police pepper spraying a bunch of non violent American citizens in the face for sitting on the ground was the appropriate response.

Apparently this is a difficult concept for some people to understand:

Obey the law and the police will not pepper spray you

Definitely. I got a speeding ticket last week, cop followed it up by pepper spraying me in the face.

I mean, it made it tough to drive, but those are the rules.

Anyone want to bet that she'll never be on the front line of a violent protest again?

Funny that the person who put up the video didn't include what lead up to the police having to pepper spray them. Pepper spray is far better than bullets.

All that was needed from that video was the first 33 seconds. All I got out of the rest of the video was: Shame on you and that it was 'their university'. Which brings up the point, if it's "their university" then they should damn well pay their student loans rather than ask for a free education.

This is criminal, an abridgement of our 1st amendment rights. These jackbooted thugs need to lose their badges for this.
