The Titanic was a ship that sunk... why all the romanticism about a sunken ship? So much that it endures 29 pages...

Because it wasn't the "Titanic".

One of the most controversial and complex theories was put forward by Robin Gardiner in his book, Titanic: The Ship That Never Sank? In it, Gardiner draws on several events and coincidences that occurred in the months, days, and hours leading up to the sinking of the Titanic, and concludes that the ship that sank was in fact Titanic's sister ship Olympic, disguised as Titanic, as an insurance scam.

I mean to use the death of 1500 people this is their final resting place and the fact remains that people lost their lives that night.. To make this into how the OP some how belives the Fed from it accident was created is pretty disrespectful and no matter what it is a sad accident.

Plus after 100 years it is still famous because of the huge amount of lives lost and that is was supposed to be the unsinkable ship that sunk on it's maiden voyage.

I mean ship wrecks happen all the time and heck even happen to modren cruiseships and I doubt the events on the Costa Concordia wreck will be even known in 100 years from know but the Titanic will still live on.

But then again the conspiracy theorist cann come up with how the Costa concordia was a major insurance scam and was not Really the Costa Concordia and then not have any proof to back up the claims..

What a fun time that will be for the people in 3012 to debate and that is one boring debate I will be able to join unless I live to be 129 years old whic is not to bad to live through the late 20th and 21st century and be still be kicking around in the early 22nd century and I will be one of those back my day grouchy types...
Titanic is the only ship to ever sink from hitting an iceberg. It happened on it's maiden voyage. Coincidence?

Not true. Passenger ships have hit icebergs and sank before and after the Titanic disaster. Here are two incidents: one in 1849 - and another in 2007.

I'm sure somewhere there are some folks blaming President Obama for the sinking of the Titanic, too!

It's Bush's fault. He, with Chaney and Rove got in a small boat, went to the north Atlantic and pushed an ice big in the path of the Titanic so that after it sunk, Haliburton would get a no bid contract to clean up the oil spill.

Would you happen to be a run Paul supporter?
