When this country begins legislating mens health issues the way they are trying to legislate womens lets talk. Until then a whole lot of women are getting REALLY pi&&ed off.

Gov Corbett has a new slogan: Just close your eyes. Whadda assh&t!
By now, even many GOP women ARE closing their eyes... In pain and disgust with the Neanderthal hypocritical ignoramuses that make up today's GOP.

I used to think 2012 was going to be a close election, but now I sense a Dem landslide coming on. The GOP- controlled USHR and all the various state houses wasted no time attacking women's rights since they won the 2010 election. Women have gotten a real foretaste of what is in store for them if these morons ever get full control of the government. Look for millions of GOP women to cross over to the Dems, or simply withhold their votes this November.

Sorry, I am a pro-lifer and I think it shouldn't be a woman's right under most circumstances to take the life of her unborn child.
No one is stopping them now because they can't. They are doing everything in their power to make it humiliating and put up useless roadblocks.

Come on, you REALLY think that having a transvaginal ultrasound is a pleasant experience? About as pleasant as a rectal exam.

The doctors aren't the ones putting forth these measures. It is mainly old republican men. Men who will NEVER in a million years have someone question their personal decisions regarding their bodies. Unless all the ED measures being put forth by women in retaliation get voted in....Yeah, men should have to 1) see a sex therapist prior to being prescribed viagra or other ED meds + 2) get a notarized letter from their sex partner that YES, dude really can't get it up and 3) have regular stress tests. Are you feeling the love and concern??

Pregnancy IS a health issue. What planet are you from??

Have you bothered to find out why this medical procedure is done from the medical standpoint rather than assuming it is to humiliate a woman? I find it kind of humiliating to have my yearly pap test done but some things are a necessity. How about giving birth? That's no fun either. Yet a woman voluntarily goes through the humiliating procedure of an abortion and you have no problem with that? What is the difference?

I see so all of these doctor's doing this are under the command of old Republican men? lol. Uh, men do undergo tests many times to determine why they are impotent before those drugs are prescribed. Medical procedures and tests are done for good reasons. They aren't a political issue but a medical issue. The only way that pregnancy is a health issue is if the mother or baby's lives are in danger. Preganancy and giving birth are natural phenomenums.

It didn't answer anything. In fact you dodged most of my points.

Getting a Pap test is not, and should not be, humiliating....nor is it FORCED on you.

An abortion is not humiliating.

Pregnancy is NOT forced on you.

Men have medical procedures, true, BUT which ones are forced on them by law???

Pre-natal care is essential to the health of a country and IS a medical issue..
But it is still not forced.

Why do you believe women should be FORCED to have an unneeded FORCED medical procedure.....like in Germany during WWII ????

I spoke with my PA State Rep about this last week to register my concern. It is his opinion that it will never get enough popular support to even be brought to a vote (note that the scheduled vote has already been delayed due to concerns raised by the medical community - paraphrased from the OP article). Just as a point of interest, he shared my concern, will vote against it if it ever gets that far, and is a Republican. I am, however, looking forward to having the opportunity to vote Corbett out of office, whose stance on many issues concerns me greatly.

Nope not at all because your argument is based off of voluntary procedures that you don't have to ever have done, in the end nothing is forced.

The party that wants this legislation is just a bunch of Dirty Old Men...

REPUBLICAN middle-aged White MEN who would LOVE to get their slimey hands on that wand......who giggle and squirm at the thought of what they can FORCE women to go through.

No shame.

No guilt.

No morals.

Lots of hate and fear of women..

I'm not going to seriously consider any medical procedure put forth by politicians and not the medical community itself. Nobody should.
