Do you really think the economy is good. Think again.. the second wave of foreclosures is happening in Florida.. the banks are moving in and taking more homes.. I see three homes from my lanai..one empty, one rented because the owner is not paying the mortgage for three years and other across the street and they said they are leaving in a month.. another is a short sale down the street, and also one home sitting empty with an owner from NJ who rented it for a while now is empty. Another across from that one , the fellow is living there for 4 years and not paying the mortgage, the bank moved to take the home two years ago then stopped because of the robosigning scandal.
The upside is one home sold and the new owner is putting in a pool. Another the county bought the home next to him , it was never lived in and built in 2008 . They sodded it , gutters on the sides installed, new trees lining the back yard and fresh paint on the columns in the front and some appliances installed. It will be sold to first home buyer by the county.
A fellow who put in stampcrete in my lanai has no work. I have him doing lawn mantenance for me because things here in Florida as so bad. Another is losing his job at Lowes . He is losing his home.
No work here. One fellow lived in his home for ten years and now is short saling it with the banks permission. So tell me again how Obama is creating jobs?

Now we have the beginning of the derivative collapse that many have been worried about with JP Morgan rolling seven on the crap table. Many more to follow I'm sure. Too bad that Franks/Dodd bill that the lefties were hailing as the greatest bill ever passed did NOTHING about investing in derivatives by these folks like we all warned them.
