They did think twice or three or four times before jumping. That happens when abortion was not legal. Most who got pregnant had the baby and adoption was the favored solution.

Those are the same women that b**** when they get fat, stretch marks, ankles swell, boobs leak, they develop gestational complications...you know, the 'GIFTS' being pregnant gives you. Dont get me STARTED on how nasty labor and delivery is.
Then they are miserable because the kid wont stop screaming, all she wants is sleep, she never gets to go out anymore, her boobs still leak, the stretch marks are still there and hideous....Kid grows up, brings home boyfriends, girlfriends, wants money for everything...kid is an adult, STILL needs things...

You have basically said that sex came with a consequence. Consequence infers a punishment for a non-desireable act. Therefore, sex is a bad thing that has consequences.

A consequence is defined as a likely result from a given action. If you study very hard and receive an A on an exam - or if you do very well in your job and receive a raise or a promotion - those are consequences of your actions. Would you describe the grade, raise, or promotion as punishments?
