They did think twice or three or four times before jumping. That happens when abortion was not legal. Most who got pregnant had the baby and adoption was the favored solution.

Do you think that people who wish to have babies don't enjoy sex?

LOL - you should read the Bible more often. Married couples are often encouraged in its pages to not withhold themselves from each other and sex is clearly portrayed as an enjoyable act between a man and a woman who love and care for each other deeply.

I attended a sermon once where the pastor discussed nothing but this topic. Sorry, but recognizing that sexual relations may result in creating a new life does not equate to not-enjoyment of it.

a fetus is a fetus and at anytime, a mother can decide to get rid of it; same with nature, when a woman has a miscarriage.

Its nothing until its fully developed and outside the mother's womb. Until then, its merely a potential baby. NOT a baby.

Here's a picture since you can't get the concept:

Then they are miserable because the kid wont stop screaming, all she wants is sleep, she never gets to go out anymore, her boobs still leak, the stretch marks are still there and hideous....Kid grows up, brings home boyfriends, girlfriends, wants money for everything...kid is an adult, STILL needs things...

Yeah, some damn gift. RETURN TO SENDER!
Must suck to be you, sorry you are so cynical about the world. Here's a sadder fact for you----you will grow old and die someday. We can't abort that and you will go through it. Life isn't a rose garden. Having children is the sweetest part for most people.

Reading about sex doesn't hold a candle to experiencing it.

Ask any person who has had great sex, very few acts in this world come close to it, no pun intended.

Which is funny, since you've never done it.
A consequence is defined as a likely result from a given action. If you study very hard and receive an A on an exam - or if you do very well in your job and receive a raise or a promotion - those are consequences of your actions. Would you describe the grade, raise, or promotion as punishments?

Our medical science is proving that wrong as each year goes by. Try to keep up. That is why people are changing their minds.

Why do you keep using "most people" in your arguments? Do you really believe your thinking lines up with the majority of the population, or do you not understand the meaning of most? You are you, and you do not represent "most people". Most people is we the people, as in, those of us who support the right to choose.
