This is a poor arguement because those 400 hav e more total income than the bottom 50% and a large part of their income is in the unearned catagory and those not taxed at any where near the rate that earned income is taxed!
Cool, so the top 400 has more income but pays less taxes then the bottom 50% pay in taxes... Sure seems like something is wrong with that equation.
...Which is why we need to slash government welfare programs so that people who are out of work actually make the effort to find work instead of relying on the government...

Right now that's what you're in store for unless Obama and Co. change that course and anything they do that doesn't go in that direction just as much or even more will only prolong the agony. Don't even think he's going to do anything productive with more debt added to the equation through his newest pivot point of focusing on jobs.

So the top 400 paid an average of $40 million each in taxes? If $40 million isn't a fair share, how much should we be taking? How much can we take before these massive tax contributors either buy more tax loopholes or move their money overseas?

If a zillionaire decides to leave the country or even send his money to an offshore tax haven I would declare him outlaw and cancel his citizenship. He pays no taxes, he gets no protection.
