There is NOthing distorted about 23 BILLION leaving our country being given to boost another countries economy while ours is hurting..

Guess you missed this tiny bit of info!
Foreign remittances, mainly from the United States, are Mexico's second-largest source of foreign exchange after oil exports

This has been an issue for our country for many years only during the boom nobody cared......
Now that we have people hurting severely in this country it is being noticed

Face it you rightys are lemmings of the trust fund (kings) who do not want to solve voting or job issues. as I have pointed out the rich want the cheap labor...

and in general when people south of the border become US citizens they are in general righty religiouscountries/authoritative society/ beliefs, they typically in a generation or so vote conservative. So it is counter if one wants to win elections for liberals if they only cared about politics.

funny how rightys approve of criminals in the military industrial complex....and these are rarely ever prosecuted. ever seen a righty military contractor go to jail...

Mexican Immigrant Labor History

Quote:
The Mexican migratory worker in southwest America is regarded as a necessary part of the bustling harvest season. The need of U.S. employers to import foreign manual labor was heightened first by the expansion of cattle ranches in the Southwest, and by the increase of fruit production in California in 1850 and 1880.

Before Mexican workers supported American agriculture, it was the Chinese who filled the labor hole. Nearly 200,000 Chinese were legally contracted to cultivate California fields, until the Chinese Exclusion Act. Then it was the Japanese who replaced the Chinese as field hands.

Mexico's economy grows more than Brazil's last year
But last year, Mexico's economy grew faster than Brazil's, and it looks set to outpace its larger Latin rival again in 2012.
..
Mexico's strengthening economy underlies the glossy veneer that will be on display as President Felipe Calderón hosts the Group of 20 leaders of major industrialized and emerging economies at the luxury beach resort of Los Cabos today and Tuesday. Mexico will be able to point to 17 years of macroeconomic stability, low inflation, manageable debt, an open economy and increasing competitiveness. The gross domestic product expanded 3.9 percent last year, ahead of Brazil's growth of 2.7 percent.

Are you implying that one must show a US Passport to register to vote? Or is it simply an ID (not proof of citizenship) like a DL (illegals can get DL's in some states still) or birth certificate (which only begins an ID and has no nationality or status upon it of the child or the parents)?

No, you check a box saying you are a US citizen and do not need to provide any proof.

Don't believe me..look at CA or TX "online" voter registration. You do not have to submit proof of citizenship..just "check that box" cause I guess they believe you at your word.
