These sickos just wanted to shoot somebody. They probably would have shot her in the head but I can see it now, they were uncertain about the legality of the situation and shot her in the hip, to play it 'safe.' To see that young woman, drunkenly stumbling around, as a threat is insane. To see her as so threatening you shoot her is impossible. It was a full grown man and woman in the apartment, and some drunk blonde college girl accidentally comes in, and you feel so scared you shoot her? These sick ****s should be in prison for the rest of their lives, to protect the rest of the population from their anger and stupidity.

You have no clue as to what legitimate gun owners think. I have a license to carry and have for 15 years, have been around guns one way or another my whole life. We are not a bunch of kill happy cowboys and most of the legit gun owners/carriers are good people like you, practicing their 2nd amendment right to defend themselves. You need to visit this forum, they're good people and all are law abiding......
It is common sense to lock your doors, and these idiots did not do it. To use your analogies, how about these....
1. I am a super hot girl dressed like a tramp, and my shirt says "please rape me." I then get raped and cry about it.
2. I am a white guy who walks around with a shirt that says "I hate black people." I then get jumped by a black guy even know I did nothing to him.
3. I drive around in my crappy Ford Escort, and no one ever has broke into it for the five years I have had it. Today, I withdrew $20,000 from the bank and put it in my glove box. On the back window, I write in big letters " I have $20,000 in cash in glove box." I then go to the mall, when I come back I find my window smashed and the money was gone.
Now, in all these situations I committed no crime and I was the victim. Obviously, I was asking for it though, just like the fool who left his door unlocked. Now do you see my point?

There is no such thing as ASKING to be a victim of crime.
I should be able to sashay through the streets naked dragging a wagon of gold bullion through the 'hood at midnight. Anyone who interferes with that is the criminal...and THEY are the ones asking for they get.
And to those who are like, "Why shoot a pretty blond drunk chick?" Geez, louise...it's the middle of the night, some strange PERSON is in your house uninvited...what are the chances they are innocent people wandering around your house in the dead of night? And you know what? CHICKS HAVE GUNS AND COMMIT CRIME, TOO. I am NOT waiting around to get the particulars of WHY you are in my house in the middle of the night...I am going to protect my baby and my family.
The girl was drunk & meant no harm to the occupants & had no intentions of theft. Shes not to bright but im sure she has learned her lesson.
