I vote based on politics, not belief systems or lack of. Now, if someone's belief system influences their politics, I take that into consideration. However, I look at the politics, not the beliefs or lack of.

So, you're not able to make up your own mind? The point is, a person that accepts that each person has only one life will value them more. I see no reason why a rational person wouldn't use force if it were rationally justified. I just think they wouldn't be casual about or lie there way in to it as the Bush Administration did.

I'm not only ready but hoping to be able to vote for an openly atheist Presidential candidate in my lifetime. It's going to be great when we can finally get superstision out of the White House.
Well, at least, 58% say they could vote for an atheist for President. I don't see what your title says from hour link but then gaining sure is something.

If I added the word majority, would that make you feel better Roy? Non of the categories were at 100%.

An athiest president will be a blessing for this country. Down with God we Trust. Instead, The Republic We Trust. Instead of God Bless America, May We Bless or Save the Republic.

I don't know the religious beliefs of most of the people trying to get cigarettes banned, and I don't think you do either. And right or wrong, being honest just for the sake of being honest may not cut it for some people. I can't see why it bothers you so much to consider the possibility that, for at least a fraction of theists, the idea that they are constantly being watched motivates them to not lie (which they are told not to do in the Christian bible).
