I think you meant, only liberal/progressive elements, because I haven't seen you feverishly denounce the conservative elements. However, that wasn't the point at all. The idea was, these "a lot" of people you spoke for, should demand that the government spend not a penny more on health care than it collects in taxes. Will that be acceptable? And how are you going to handle those idiots who were crying about $50B reduction would be putting grandma to death bed? I'm sure you heard about that craziness?

Is the hundreds of billions that the government spends on Medicare/Medicaid and other health care expenses amounting to nearly $900 Billion a year... not really spending? What would happen to grandma, again, if Medicare spending were dropped to about $200B? You guys had an interesting slogan a couple of years ago. If $50B in potential reductions via addressing fraud and duplicity was going to do that, what would y'all be screaming if that reduction was several times as much, and on actual services?

Obama wants everyone to get on the rolls of government health care and the care will be lousy because the amount of more people on the rolls and not enough doctors. Obama needs to go with his Obamacare!
Seems to me, if that was the case, medical care would be a growth industry and people would swarm to the profession.
Private healthcare companies will be out of business soon. People who "opt out" and get sick, need a surgery etc, simply need to go sign up, they can't be denied for pre existing conditions after all, and get their surgery, insurance company has to pay for it, folks then cancel the insurance and opt back out. End of insurance companies.
Yeah, because that's a convenience for every American busy with life.
Every time I need to go to the doctor, I'll just call some random insurance company, pay my first month's premium (which is far more than a co-pay), head over to the doctor's office and then get all patched up. As soon as I'm fixed, I'll just drop the insurance company and repeat the process like a laundry cycle until the day that I die.
Even the most diligent scam artist would find this to be absurd. There may be a few people who figure out a way to scam the system (there will always be such people) but it will hardly spell the end of days for private healthcare companies.
Maybe you should tell your grandchildren that if the affordable health care act is overturned... once they become adults on low salaries they can FORGET any kind of helth care or tell them that the line that your grandmother says you will be in for health care doesn't even exist for millions here or maybe YOUR grandchildren should tell YOU that they are NO longer going to have the most expensive, least efficient and elitist health system in the World. Maybe your grandchildren should tell you that they want a health system that covers EVERYONE including the elderly who will no longer need medicare or any other "bolt on" health scheme but get great health treatment from before birth to the day they dies WITHOUT co pays or penalties or nly the Wealthy getting great treatment............ YEAH let's listen to the FUTURE NOT the Past.

Except for the fact that with the Supreme Court changing it to a tax, it being a tax increase is on the Supreme Court, not Obama.
I doubt this will honestly affect the election much.
Again, though, not that it matters, since Romney and Obama are pretty much the same politician.
You really don't see that many small businesses will not shove their employees into whatever is still around for them to get, do you? Why should the employers continue to pay those high rates for their employees when the employees can do the suffering? You need to awaken and look at the situation and not just what you guys want to see.
