Perry talks big but when it comes to actually doing some of what he talks about, it turns out to be BS anyway. He said "Texas won't comply with the new Real ID law" and then when he discovered that lots of Texans do actually like to be able to board airplanes, he changed his mind. Then he stated that the anti immigrant law in Arizona was great and should be "the law everywhere" until somebody said maybe Texas should have the same law and again he backed down. If it wasn't for illegals, Texas would not have an economy.
The Fed backed down from RealID because many states besides Texas couldn't afford the equipment.
We have parts of realID implemented in driver licenses but the Fed pulled back on the full implementation of RealID.
I wonder are we seeing the beginning of another American Revolution?
I can't remember the last time the states and the federal government were at each others throats like this. You may be right on.
I say, give the big gov libs and their pet minorities/welfare parasites their own region and the small gov, redneck, self-reliant "extremists" another region.
This nation is split/fractured/divided beyond repair. Time for the states to ask for their sovereignty back.
If he still smoking cigs, he is dumb. The President of the United States should be above bad habits and addictions of any kind.
Except for money and power addictions. To each is own, who the hell cares if someone likes tobacco, coffee, beer, big fat burgers, wine tasting drunks in suits. Life is too short to be passing judgement on others when our own eyes are closed to our own freaky fetishes.
