Yep. Different than saying they didn't earn it/build it on their own. We all know small businesses get help but not so much from govenment than from friends and family. Small business already paid taxes for the roads, etc, etc, etc and will pay more all the time.
He credited families and coaches instead of unions and govnerment. OUTRAGEOUS!
My family helped build our BUSINESSES too, right along with the infrastructure I use and that we all pay taxes for. Major tax dollars went into building the Olympic park here in the US, and the athletes themselves pay taxes and use services. Your point makes zero sense.

Look at my addition to that post where you can compare them side by side. Try to understand that Romney was talking to all the athletes of the world gathered in the stadium just before the flame camp in. He was not trying to buy votes with that speech and it was 10 years ago. I will show some real respect for Obama the day he and you earn it.
Haven't any of you Obamabots ever been to an event of some kind and heard a speech that starts something like "I would like to thank all those that made this event possible."? Romneys speech is one of those and it is true that there were plenty of people involved that made this happen so the athletes could participate. It doesn't apply the same way to a business.

What is despicable, is how Romney, used the twisted quote and soundbite from Faux on his campaign stop.
Get lost with the 10 year stuff, your side tried to tie Obama to a "terrorist", that supposedly did things 40 years ago and how Obama was to schools that were Muslim slanted 40 years ago.

Not howling, but agreeing. I don't think he said anything wrong, but it seems you do not know how to react to this because his speech was same as Obamas and you already trashed Obama for crediting teachers. Your dilemma is how to applaud Romney for crediting a coach, while maintaining it was wrong for obama to credit a teacher. I am curious to see what you will come up with.
Not only are the two speeches apples, they are apples of same size, color and flavor.
